Welcome to the 2026 BC Inter-School Triathlon Championship! The first of its kind in BC, this contest is all about mind games — Chess, Speedcubing, and Trivia + Math. Compete as a team or as an individual, score points for your school, and find out which school has the best minds in the province! You can register for any given contest or multiple contests, so don’t worry if you’re not a pro in all three.

The Annual BC Inter-School Chess Championship 2026 is hosted in partnership with Fraser Valley Chess Academy, a pioneer in youth chess tournaments for the past 3 three years.
If you wish to register for just the chess event, you will be redirected to FVCA’s website to complete your registration by clicking on the register button. Register at the bottom of this page if you wish to avail the bundle discount.
The sections are as follows: KG-G2, G3-5, G6-8, G9-12, and University.

Speedcubing
June 6th, 2026 | 10am to 7pm | Entry Fee: $35
The Speedcubing portion of the triathlon is organized in partnership with the Premiere Speedcubing League.
The PSL is home to the highest standard of competitive speedcubers and cubing entertainment!
*To enter the Speedcubing event, you must complete a qualification round to determine your division placement.*
We are accepting 3 methods of qualification.
Please note that if you pre-qualify using option A or B, you may benefit from only needing
to arrive by your division’s start time, rather than 9:30am.
Option A: Qualify with the Premiere Speedcubing League by contacting XXXXXXXX
Option B: Qualify at the BC Inter-School Chess Championship on March 3oth or 31st, 2026.
Option C: On the spot qualification at the event on June 6th, at 9:30am.
Winner of intermediate section will auto-qualify for the PRO division at 3:30pm.

Back by popular demand! After an amazing response in our previous edition, we’re bringing the Math & Trivia Contest back — bigger, better, and brainier than ever. Put your problem-solving, logic, and general knowledge to the test as you compete for your school in the BC Scholastic Triathlon.
